Wedding Chapel & Courtyard

weddings
  • Please contact us for your needs. Please keep in mind, we are a rustic mountain setting.
  • We understand that each wedding is as unique as the couple getting hitched.
  • The Courtyard at Legacy Park is a rustic, picturesque, DIY, low-cost and unique venue.
  • We are not fancy, but have a beautiful place to hold your event in the Ponderosa Pines.
  • You can choose to get married in the Chapel or outside with a beautiful view.
  • Within an hour drive from Boise, Idaho, in the Boise National Forest, we are an easy access venue right off Highway 21. Just one mile North of the quaint county seat of Boise County.
  • Exchange your vows at our Courtyard with a small chapel and 2 rustic buildings as your background.
  • Three full days is what you get currently for your Wedding. Which will certainly help to lower the stress of setting up your own fun decor, may it be Classic, Elegant, Western or just your own with your horse(s) by your side, you can create your own.
  •  Please keep in mind you and your family are in charge to decorate and take it all down.
  • There are two Western Style buildings that come with the Courtyard besides the Chapel. These can be your place to get ready or use for event staging, ie Photo Booth, Bar etc.
  • If it is held during a rainy weekend, tents can be set up. However, we hear that if it rains on your wedding day your marriage will be blessed!! Who knows!
  • Bring a camper/rv to get ready in, 1 campsite comes with your weekend rental of the Courtyard.
  • Your guests should RSVP early for a campsite, we do fill up quickly.
  • Need a Pastor, we have one to consider, Pastor Frank Hartmann.
  • Planning an Equine Wedding? We have 23 Campsites that offer horse corrals.

An hour's drive (35 miles) towards Lowman invites a soak in natural hot springs.

Retirement Parties

  • Contact Cowboy Campground for more information.

WANT TO HOST AN EVENT?

  • If you choose to host your own ETS, Clinic or Retreat please get in touch with us. We are looking for experienced hosts to help bring more events to our wonderful Gem in the Rough.
We can certainly help you out with ideas, reservations and planning.
Consider keeping your groups small for a more individual feel; or fill them up with the great bustle of a large gathering.
For example, our Ladies Retreats filled super fast and we know there is a need for small group “pampering” venues. With the Springs, a natural hot springs pool, just two miles from our Campground, make reservations ahead of time and spoil your group.
If someone doesn’t have a camper or gear, consider having them rent a hotel room, just 1 mile from our site and the horses can stay at CC.
We can help with flyers and advertising on our FB and website.
Keep in mind, the Rodeo Arena can be rented as an additional venue from the City of Idaho City
